    The International Cooperation Department informs that another project for the internationalisation of the Medical University of Bialystok has received funding under the "Welcome to Poland" programme of the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange. NAWA granted funds of PLN 399,320.34 for the implementation of the project entitled. "The gates of MUB are always open. Support for the development of the Welcome Centre and the university's potential to serve foreign students and researchers". The project was prepared by the International Cooperation Department in close cooperation with Professor Tomasz Hryszko, MD, PhD - Rector's Plenipotentiary for International Cooperation.

    The project will be implemented in the period of June 2021–May 2023. Within the framework of the project, various tasks are planned to increase the level of internationalisation of the Medical University of Bialystok. There will be implemented, among others:

    • execution and implementation of a bilingual Polish-English Virtual Walk around the University

    campus – the action involves photographing and transferring 24 locations to virtual reality
    (e.g. Collegium Universum, Collegium Primum, Collegium Integratio and others) and as many as 720 (!) points on the University campus that the visitor will be able to see online;

    • organization of international events in English for the entire MUB international academic

    community – such events are planned as: II MUB’s International Karaoke Night; Welcome to Bialystok – I International Sightseeing Day; II International Sport Day; III International Cooking Day. This is a continuation of events at our University, which became very popular;

    • purchase of a professional photo session – as a result, the university will have an up-to-date database of professional photographs, including photographs of laboratories, university buildings, scientific and research apparatus and of MUB authorities;
    • purchase of ready-to-use photo repositories for the purpose of using it in the international promotion of the Medical University of Bialystok;

Three-dimensional logotypes will provide an excellent background for example for commemorative photos of foreign representatives of the university academic community;
    • preparation of English-language guidebooks and student calendars;
    • purchase of University promotional materials for the purposes of the Welcome Centre – they will be given to visitors to the university's Welcome Centre.
