The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Programme POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIPS (Horizon Europe) invites researchers holding a PhD to participate in the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship 2025 competition (HORIZON-MSCA-2025-PF-01-01). Applications can be submitted until September 10, 2025!

The essence of the competition is individual research and training projects designed for researchers with PhD degrees. The program aims to gain new skills, experience for the development of scientific careers as a result of work in an individual, interdisciplinary research and training project and through international and inter-sectoral mobility.

The call for applications runs from May 8, 2025 - September 10, 2025

The application can be submitted by a researcher with a PhD degree in cooperation with a host institution, which can be:

- a university or research institute,

- an enterprise (including from the SME sector),

- another organization from an EU member state, a Horizon Europe-associated country, or from a third – non-associated country.Applicants can choose two types of projects: European Postdoctoral Fellowship (EPF) - projects aimed at researchers of any nationality from Europe or coming from any country in the world to Europe to develop and continue their research careers, or Global Postdoctoral Fellowship (GPF) - projects for researchers from Europe to travel to conduct research outside Europe.

Benefits for researchers:

- development of academic career through research and training,

- opportunity to take up collaboration with the non-academic sector,

- employment under an employment contract for the period of the fellowship,

- funding for research, conferences, and publications.

Benefits for institutions:

- employment of a researcher fully covered from the project budget,

- development of the organisation’s scientific potential,

- possibility to use the results – the IP belongs to the organisation,

- participation in the project is taken into account in the Ministry of Education and Science’s evaluation of scientific institutions.

The EU provides support for the recruited researcher in the form of:

- a living allowance,

- a mobility allowance,

- if applicable, family, long-term leave and special needs allowances.

In addition, funding is provided for:

- research, training and networking activities,

- management and indirect costs.

Each entity participating in Horizon Europe (beneficiary and partner institutions) must have a PIC code that identifies the institution actively participating in the project, which must be indicated in Part A of the application. Applications should be submitted via the EU Funding & Tenders Portal.

The application consists of two main parts:

- Part A filled out directly on the website,

- Part B in the form of two PDF files (Part B1 and Part B2)

We encourage all researches holding a PhD to participate in the competition.
