The doors of the former Golden Rooms of the Branicki Palace open - welcome to the MUB Rector's Office
This is where the history of our Medical University of Bialystok begins.
Join us for an extraordinary walk through the palace rooms, which not everyone has had the opportunity to access yet.
In the 18th century, the Golden Rooms were some of the most representative suites.
In the 21st century, the Rector's Office is a place that not only serves an administrative function, but is also a symbol of our tradition and history.
This is a unique opportunity to see what the space looks like where key decisions about the University's future are made.
During the visit there will be an opportunity to:
See with your own eyes the only original exhibit from the time of the Branicki family kept in the palace interiors - an engraving from the mid-18th century showing the Palace from the side of the gardens, by M. H. Rentz. It is also an opportunity to learn about its extraordinary history; see a collection of portraits of the University's Rectors and discover interesting facts about the artists who created the paintings; learn about the history of the Rectors‘ insignia, as well as see the original Rectors’ robes; explore a gallery of portraits of persons who have been honoured by the University with an honorary title - Doctor Honoris Causa; and learn interesting facts and information known only to a few.
You are cordially invited on 4 dates:

The historians of the Medical University of Bialystok Museum will be our guides.
