The Minister of Science and Higher Education awarded 690,000 PLN to the Medical University of Bialystok for the implementation of the project "Strategy of Excellence of the Medical University of Bialystok - the Research School of the Future". The aim of the project is to prepare MUB for the competition for research institutes provided in Act 2.0. At this stage, the Ministry provides 10 such universities in Poland.
The Project Manager on behalf of the Medical University of Bialystok is Vice-Rector for Science, professor Marcin Moniuszko. The project will be carried out from January to May next year. It envisages, among others, improving the quality of education of students and doctoral students by including them in conducting innovative research, developing 15 student and 10 research grants, preparing an expert analysis to improve the quality of education, strengthening research cooperation with renowned research centers, raising the international recognition of the MUB scientific activity through a promotional campaign, including reports and interviews in the world's leading scientific journals and mass media. The project co-financed by the Ministry also assumes improvement of the quality of university management, introduction of organizational changes, including those raising the international significance of the university's activity.
