Medical team of the II Department of Nephrology of the Medical University of Bialystok under the chairmanship of dr hab. Tomasz Hryszko, for the first time in Poland, participates in a worldwide nephrological action linking fans of nephrology around the world.
Nephmadness is an innovative educational game conducted via social media. With the help of science blogs and Twitter, the medical community broaden its knowledge and discusses new diagnostic and therapeutic concepts that appeared in the past year.
Apart from the team of the II Department of Nephrology, well-known guests also participate in the campaign (among others, prof. Michał Myśliwiec). The topics that are discussed relate to: kidney transplantation, treatment of hypertension, the assessment of proper hydration of the body and technological innovations in the treatment of kidney diseases using the "artificial kidney". It is a new form of education in nephrology and promotion of knowledge about kidney diseases - the action takes place in March, just like the World Kidney Day.
