The 17th of May is the Norwegian Constitution Day, which is a national holiday, usually spent merrily, at picnics, marche and joint events.
Also Norwegian students of the Medical University of Bialystok celebrate this day in a traditional day - they organize a march with an orchestra through the city center.
Also this year the group of Norwegian students of the Medical University of Bialystok marched through the streets of Białystok. Wearing national costumes, they carried the flags of Norway. The march set off at 4 pm from the Branicki Palace, the seat of the University, and through the sounds of trumpets and patriotic songs passed through the city center.
The celebration of the national holiday of Norway has a several years tradition. Foreign English Division students from Scandinavia who form the largest group among all foreigners (over 120 people, out of 367 foreign students) thus manifest their patriotism).
