The Minister of Science and Higher Education allocated 17 million PLN to finance 85 projects of talented graduate students, who conduct research at a high level and possess outstanding scientific achievements. The winners were selected from among 243 applicants in a two-stage competition proceeding.
Among them is Krzysztof Drygalski, who will receive 220 000 PLN for the implementation of the project called “The effect of extracellular matrix and its remodeling on fat metabolism in the pathogenesis of obesity". The project was considered the best of all in the field of medical science and the best 7. in this year's edition of the Diamond Grant.
