The Medical University of Bialystok has concluded a bilateral agreement with the VšĮ Centro Poliklinika in Vilnius. This is the fiftieth bilateral agreement in general and simultaneously the third MUB’s agreement as part of the cooperation with hospitals and clinics from abroad since 2019.
Bilateral agreements were concluded with the Ameos Group (Switzerland) and with Klinikum Dortmund gGmbH (Germany).
The subject of the contract is cooperation in the implementation of summer internships for students of the Medical University of Bialystok, Division of Medical Education in English, from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th year of studies. Thanks to the agreement, English Division students which are speaking Lithuanian language will be able to undergo summer student internships in the clinic managed by VšĮ Centro Poliklinika. The Agreement is concluded for an indefinite period.
Responsible for cooperation with the VšĮ Centro Poliklinika on the part of MUB will be: Prof. dr hab. Tomasz Hryszko, Rector's Plenipotentiary for International Cooperation, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Medicine with the Division of Dentistry with Division of Medical Education in English, and the International Cooperation Office.
The International Cooperation Office is aiming to conclude further agreements with clinics and hospitals from all around the Europe. Our ultimate goal is to provide the opportunity for the students of MUB to undergo student internships abroad in well-known hospitals and clinics with good standards which will have a very beneficial effect for their professional development.
