"Every tablet is different – modern dosage forms"- new educational video is available!
We are pleased to announce that the fifth video in the series “Now I understand – a series of educational videos”, entitled “Every tablet is different – modern dosage forms” is now available.
In the video, we listen to experts from the Medical University of Bialystok: prof. Katarzyna Winnicka, dr Anna Czajkowska-Kośnik, dr Marta Szekalska, dr Katarzyna Sosnowska, mgr Joanna Potaś, mgr Katarzyna Kruk.
The most convenient and the most common way of drug administration is the oral one. Among the wide range of oral preparations, tablets, capsules and coated tablets are particularly popular. What are the differences between these forms of administration of medicinal substances? How does the construction of tablets or capsules affect their intended use and therapeutic effectiveness? We hope that the presented video will be helpful in answering these questions. It will also show what to consider when choosing, for example, painkillers and how to understand the information on the packaging or leaflets of medicines regarding the possibility and method of dividing tablets.
After the video, there is a quiz consisting of 10 questions covering the scope of knowledge from the educational video. The questions are close-ended– there is different answer options, but only one is correct. The winners of the day will be people who correctly answer the largest number of questions in the shortest possible time. We have prepared great prizes – smart bands.
Quiz will be available from 15 March 8.00 a.m to 17 March 11:59 p.m. Each of the viewers has a chance to co-create this project. The topic of one of the episodes will be selected in an Internet plebiscite.
