We would like to kindly inform you that the Chapter has evaluated the applications submitted to the Competition for Leaders of Teaching Excellence and Leaders of Digital Excellence, organised as part of the implementation of the Strategy for Teaching Excellence (SDD) for 2023-2030.
The aim of the Competition was to identify academic staff who excel in the area of didactics and modern educational tools, and who will actively promote the development and improvement of didactics in their Faculties. The leaders will also become members of the MUB Council for Teaching Excellence, which aims, among other things, to initiate actions for the development of teachers' competences and increase students' well-being, and to support the University Authorities in the implementation of SDD.
This year's competition, which runs from 4 April to 4 May 2025, received 20 application forms for Leader of Teaching Excellence (LDD) and 1 application form for Leader of Digital Excellence (LDC).
As a result of the formal and substantive assessment, the Competition Jury selected 17 Leaders of Teaching Excellence, including:
- 4 from the Faculty of Pharmacy with the Department of Laboratory Medicine,
- 4 from the Faculty of Medicine with the Division of Dentistry and Division of Medical Education in English,
- 9 from the Faculty of Health Sciences
- and 1 Digital Excellence Leader from the Faculty of Health Sciences.
All successful Leaders will commence their role on the Council for Teaching Excellence from the academic year 2025/2026 and their term of office will last 3 years.
