Hospital

The University's hospitals and clinics offer excellent training programs and facilities for students in every medical speciality. The patient population is quite large, with diverse case characteristics. These healthcare institutions provide medical services for the city of Bialystok and the Podlaskie region.

The Teaching Hospital of the Medical University of Bialystok is a teaching and research centre for the University Departments. It also offers a wide variety of health services, from simple to highly specialized procedures, all funded from the Ministry of Health. The Children's Teaching Hospital is the second biggest hospital in the city. With its state-of-the-art equipment and professional teaching, it is an excellent education base for medical students. About 10,000 child patients are hospitalized here annually. Another 120,000 receive outpatient care.
