Laboratory tests play a huge role among all elements of diagnosing patients. The usefulness of laboratory test results in diagnosing internal diseases is as high as 60%. During the video, viewers will learn, among others: how to properly prepare for laboratory tests of blood, urine and faeces and how to collect biological samples for testing. We present basic information about the specificity of biochemical, immunological, hematological and microbiological testing. As part of the project "Now I understand - a series of educational videos", the Medical University of Bialystok invites everybody to a series of short videos explaining popular medical and pharmaceutical issues. This project received funding from the state budget under the Social Responsibility of Science- Popularization of Science and Promotion of Sport program. As part of the project, 6 educational videos will be made. The topic of the sixth video will be chosen by the audience in an online plebiscite. In addition, after the broadcast of each video, we invite you to a short online quiz with attractive prizes to check the knowledge provided in the educational video.
