8th European Regional Conference on Thoracic Oncology
  • Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee it is my great pleasure to invite you to the 8th European Regional Conference on Thoracic Oncology, which will take place at the Medical University of Bialystok, Poland on the 17th of June, 2016.

It will be one of the largest European Regional Conferences on Thoracic Oncology this year intended for Polish, Lithuanian and Belarussian physicians involved in the management of thoracic cancers (medical oncologists, clinical oncologists, radiation oncologists, radiologists, thoracic surgeons, general surgeons, pulmonologists, general practitioners, internists, pathologists, medical biologists, other medical specialists). The conference topics will reflect the interdisciplinary character of lung cancer patient care and will be covered by distinguished experts of epidemiology, diagnosis and treatment. The initiative is to provide an increasing number of colleagues in our region with today’s clinically most relevant information in the novel strategy of precision medicine for lung cancer patients.

It will be a one-day-conference. Talks will be given by internationally well-known opinion leaders in the field of thoracic oncology from Poland, Germany, Italy, the Baltic States, Austria and Australia. The conference expects an audience up to 200 participants (oncologists, thoracic surgeons, researchers) and targets participants from Poland, the Baltic States and Belarus. The conference format will include educational and scientific presentations, reviews and panel discussions.

I hope to see all of you at the conference in Białystok!

    With kind regards,

On behalf of the Organizers and the Faculty
