On 15 April 2024, a contract was signed for the construction of the Didactic Centre for Basic Sciences at the Medical University of Bialystok in the so-called 'design and build' system, including: the development of design documentation, obtaining a building permit and securing a final occupancy permit.
On behalf of the MUB , the agreement was signed by Konrad Raczkowski, Chancellor of the MUB, whilst STRABAG was represented by Jarosław Pelc, Chief Financial Director, and Tomasz Ciemiński, Technical Director.
The planned building will be a three-storey building with an area of almost 3,500 m2 and a built-up area of approximately 970 m2. It will be situated between the Collegium Primum and the Collegium Universum on Adam Mickiewicz Street and functionally linked to the Department of Biophysics and the Collegium Primum.
The investment is worth more than PLN 32 million and the planned completion time is no later than 31 December 2025.
