On 12-14 April 2024, the National Academic Swimming Championships were held in Lublin with over 900 competitors from 80 universities.
The National Academic Swimming Championships is an annual event that not only attracts the attention of sports enthusiasts, but also provides a unique opportunity to honour the talent and determination of young athletes from universities across Poland.
Medals won (all in the Medical Universities category):
- 1st place 200m backstroke - Abelardo Milan Del Pozo (VI year English Division)
- 2nd place 50m freestyle - Valeria Ortiz Martinez (VI year English Division)
- 3rd place 100m backstroke - Abelardo Milan Del Pozo (VI year English Division)
- 4th place 50m classic style - Gabriela Poczobutt Odlanicka (III year Medicine)
- 5th place 100m classic style - Gabriela Poczobutt Odlanicka (III year Medicine)
- 5th place 50m backstroke - Julia Żekało (IV year Medicine)
- 7th place 100m backstroke - Julia Żekało (IV year Medicine)
- 8th place 100m freestyle - Valeria Ortiz Martinez (VI year English Division)
- 10th place 50m freestyle - Teresa Fernandez Moreno (VI year English Division)
The MUB female students also won fifth place in the 4x50m relay.
