    Regulations

    1. Classes are held according to the schedule set by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine with the Division of Dentistry and the English Division of MUB and the curriculum approved by the Faculty Council.
    2. Students are obliged to comply with health, safety, fire and sanitary-epidemiological regulations. The above provisions are placed on the Department's website.
    3. Students are obliged to follow the sanitary guidelines contained in general regulations and regulations issued by the Chief Sanitary Inspector and other authorized entities, as well as the Orders and announcements of the Rector of the Medical University of Bialystok.     4. The place where students can change clothes and shoes is clearly marked students’ cloakroom. It is forbidden to bring any outdoor clothes, bags or backpacks to the Department.
    5. During classes students are obliged to wear clean white coats and clean changed shoes. Students are obliged to have stethoscopes, which should be disinfected after auscultation of every patient. Student is obliged to have an ID badge with name.
    6. It is forbidden to use any multimedia devices during classes. Taking photographs and recording is strictly forbidden.
    7. Students are obliged to keep professional secrecy. All documentation regarding the patient must be devoid of personal data.
    8. During the course students are not allowed to leave the Department without the knowledge and consent of the person conducting the classes.
    9. Students are allowed to enter patients’ rooms only with the assistant’s permission and they should remain by the assigned bed. Students are not allowed to leave the Depatment without the permission of the assistant.
    10. Classes are being held according to the schedule, which is displayed on the notice board located in the Department and on the website.
    11. Attendance at all classes is obligatory. Students are obliged to come to classes on time. In the case of absence, the relevant certificate must be provided to the assistant within 7 days after the period of absence. Documents delivered after this date will not be honored.
    12. In the case of excused absence, students are obliged to make up classes on the date and time appointed with an assistant.
    13. Students who have noticed any disturbing symptoms in themselves (body temperature above 37.5°C, dry cough, shortness of breath, changes in the sense of smell or taste) should not participate in classes.
    14. In case of absence caused by the above symptoms, isolation or quarantine, Students are obliged to make up classes, and the date and method should be set with the assistant individually.
    15. Students in quarantine are obliged to participate in classes conducted with the use of distance education methods and techniques, unless the quarantine physician determines that they are unable to participate in the classes.
    16. Instructions for proper usage of protective equipment/clothing, proper usage of disinfectants (including materials and methods used for body surfaces and/or equipment) are available at the Department and are discussed during the first classes.
    17. Personal jewerly on the hands is to be taken off when examining a patient.
    18. Students are allowed to entry rooms with signs ,,Izolacja ochronna’’ or ,,Izolacja kontaktowa’’ only with the assistant’s permission.
    19. The assistant responsible for the class must be informed immediately of any injuries or contact with biological materials.
    20. No food or drink is allowed in the Department (including chewing gum).
    21. Smoking is strictly forbidden on the grounds of the Teaching Hospital.
    22. Students are not allowed to use any sources of fire/flame, especially in the proximity of oxygen sources.
    23. In case of noticing uncontrolled fire source, students should notify teaching assistant immediately.
    24. Fire extinguishers, appropriately coloured red, are situated throughout the Departments/Hospital.
    25. In the case of an evacuation, instructions given by the person coordinating the evacuation are to be followed.
