Criteria for assessing the achieved learning outcomes and the form and conditions for receiving credit: |
Attending all classes is mandatory to be granted credit for the course. Every absence must be excused by presenting a medical certificate or other certificate signed by the Dean. The absence must be overtaken with other student group. The oral evaluation (by the assistant) of the topics discussed during the day is another possibility to be granted credit for the day of absence; both - prior to the end of didactics. Clinical classes are evaluated twice: in the Department of Ophthalmology and in the Department of Pediatric Ophthalmology Teaching Childrens Hospital (oral – practical exam). To enter the final exam a student must be granted credit for clinical classes and must have completed practical exam.
The final examination in the ophthalmology is in the form of the written test and takes place in the summer examination session. Only students who passed the practical examination will enter the final test examination. The following grades are given for examination: satisfactory (3,0) - ³60% correct answers fairly good (3,5) - ³70% correct answers good (4,0) - ³80% correct answers better than good (4,5) - ³88% correct answers very good (5,0) - ³94% correct answers The retake exam is written (a test).
