PROGRAM OF PRACTICAL CLASSES IN PEDIATRIC OTOLARYNGOLOGY
for 5th-year students of the Faculty of Medicine
Medical University of Bialystok
Academic Year 2025/2026 

Students are required to be familiar with the topics listed above before attending the classes.

Attendance at all practical classes is required to obtain course credit.

Make-up classes are allowed only in justified cases documented by a medical certificate or dean’s leave.

Missed classes must be completed with another student group.

The schedule for the winter semester of the academic year 2025/2026 is available on the Faculty of Medicine website.
Practical classes at the Department of Pediatric Otolaryngology are conducted according to the official university schedule.

Topics of Practical Classes

Day I:

• Diseases of the throat and nasopharynx

• Adenoid hypertrophy

• Inflammatory diseases of the throat

• Indications for tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy

Day II:

• Causes of hearing loss in children

• Pediatric hearing diagnostics

• Diseases of the external and middle ear

IMPORTANT:
Changing footwear is required within the Clinic premises.
