We will soon begin the Pediatric Course 2025/2026.
Lectures will be conducted online using Blackboard. Starting from February 2026. A detailed schedule will be announced soon.

The 1st pediatric block of seminars and clinical classes will start in spring 2026 (in April), according to the timetable that will be updated in summer semester. https://www.umb.edu.pl/en/s,15881/Seminars_and_classes
Seminars will be conducted online using Blackboard and will begin at 8:00. Please log in to Blackboard with your personal login credentials, as this is necessary to register your participation in the seminars.
Clinical classes will be conducted at the Department of Pediatrics, Rheumatology, Immunology, and Metabolic Bone Diseases. You are expected at 8.15 on the 6th floor of the Children's Clinical Hospital. Please wait for your teachers just in front of the main entrance to the Department.
Important: Please be informed that according to the Didactic Regulations, Students are obliged to participate in all classes and lectures (including e-learning). Students are expected to arrive at classes on time. In case of the absence Student must submit a sick leave or Dean’s Certificate justifying any absences of classes within 7 working days of the end of the absence period. Documents delivered after this deadline will not be accepted, and the absence will be unjustified. Any unjustified absence results in failure of the pediatric course.

CREDIT TEST
Please be informed that the credit test in Pediatrics is scheduled for June 24, 2025.
The test will start at 09.30 CET.
The credit test will be conducted remotely using the TESTPORTAL platform. It will encompass the topics of all classes, including lectures, seminars, and clinical labs, conducted by the Department of Pediatrics, Rheumatology, Immunology, and Metabolic Bone Diseases.
Please ensure you have uninterrupted access to the internet throughout the test.
How to take the test?
1. 24 hours before the test starts, you will receive an email with a special, individual 12-digit access code, "xxxxxxxxxx". This access code is unique, and with it, each student will be identified. You are asked to keep this code confidential.
Please be informed that we will use only the official university email address: XXXXX@student.umb.edu.pl. We will not use private emails.
If you do not receive the access code by noon on June 23rd, 2025, please email me immediately at pawel.abramowicz@umb.edu.pl. I will resend your access code.
2. To access the test, use the following link: https://pediatrics.testportal.net/?lang=en. Then, you will be asked to type your access code. The link will work since the test was activated, i.e., June 24th, 2025, from 9:30 to 9:35. Within this timeframe, the test must be started.
The time limit for solving the test is 45 minutes.
You will get only one opportunity to take the test.
Please do not delay logging into the test, as access will be open for only 5 minutes.

What will the test look like?
This Test:
- Consists of 30 multiple-choice questions.
- Has only one correct answer per question.
- Has a pass mark of 60% (i.e., 18 correct answers)
- Has a 45-minute time limit.
- Has a large number of versions. Each student will receive a different version of the test.
- It will allow you to go back and change your answers at any time within the given time limit.
- It will not allow you to save and finish at a later date. Only one attempt is allowed.
No aids of any kind are allowed. The testportal utilizes the Honest respondent technology.
While completing the test, you cannot:

The credit test will be conducted remotely with the use of TESTPORTAL platform and will include the topics of all classes: lectures, seminars, and clinical labs conducted by the Department of Pediatrics, Rheumatology, Immunology, and Metabolic Bone Diseases.
For your convenience, we offer the mock test which will be organized soon (we wait for a proposal of the possible date for this test). This is not mandatory. This is just to check the functionality of the TESTPORTAL (the platform which will be used for the real test). To take the mock test the procedure will be the same as described below for the real credit test.

Note:
Student who were not allowed to attent today's test and those who have failed are pleased to be informed that retake test is scheduled on 28th of May 2018 at 12.00 at the seminar room of our Department (6th floor).
The retake test will consist of 30 questions as the first one.
Before retake test students who have any missed classes have to work out them with appropriate teacher.
Students who were not present on the test have to justify their absence (medical leave etc.) within 7 days since the test. Unexcused absence results in the failure of the pediatric course. Students who justify their absence and those who have failed the test will be granted only one opportunity to retake it. The modality and the date of the retake will be appointed by the Head of the Dept. and published on our website soon.
