    Regulations

    Regulations for students of Faculty of Medicine.

    Department of Maxillofacial and Plastic Surgery of Medical University of Białystok.

     

    1. During the classes students are obligated to follow sanitary recommendation.
    2. Outerwear must be left in cloakroom. All students are obligated to wear protective clothes during clinical classes.
    3. Every student is obligated to have his own facemask, protective clothes (medical apron or scrubs) and white soft shoes. Only single small paper notebook and pen are allowed.
    4. Any unnecessary items (except listed above) like cellphones, laptops, recorders, cameras, bags, backpacks, handbooks etc. are not allowed in the Clinic. They should be kept in safe place before entering classes. Staff of the Department does not take responsibility for any items left unattended.
    5. To enter operating theater student has to bring his/her own [extra] facemask, shoe covers, disposable surgical gown and surgical cap.  
    6. No food or beverage is allowed during the class.
    7. Taking photos, video or voice recording at the Clinic is prohibited with no exceptions.
    8. Lectures and classes might be given satationary or through distance learning, (accoring to epidemic situation).
    9. In case of an online learning a „Blackboard” platform will be used.
    10. If student is not able to participate in stationary classes (due to infection or quarantine) he/she is obligated to inform the Clinc (via email: kchszt@umb.edu.pl) about the situation and to attach scan of appropriate proof document.
    11. Student’s absence may be excused only by a sick note or a sabbatical granted by the Dean. In this case, the student should catch up on missed class within a week.
    12. Student takes full responsiblity of any damages caused by him/her in the Department.

    15. Theoretical knowledge required from students can be gained from listed books
      (as mentioned above).
    16. To receive final credit: full attendance and positive result of test (written or oral) are required. Test will be taken during the last class.
    17. Student has right to see his/her taken test after arranging an appoitment with lecturer.
    18. Comments and questions about the test can be asked right after it (in 30 minutes).
    19. Regulations and restrictions are eligible for change due to Dean Office decisions or epidemic situation.
