    1. Types and specificity of soft tissue injuries of maxilofacial region. Types and mechanisms of bone fractures of maxillofacial skeleton and teeth. Diagnostics, first aid, complications. Interdisciplinary cooperation in diagnostics and treatment of craniofacial injuries. 
    2. Benign and malignant neoplasms of the craniofacial region, including oral cavity: epidemiology, aetiology, staging (TNM). Principles of diagnosis, prophylaxis, surgical and combined treatment. Interdisciplinary cooperation. Preparation of the oral cavity for radiation therapy. Tumour-like lesions. 
    3. Congenital (cleft) and acquired (skeletal) defects of the craniofacial part: morphological, functional and aesthetic disorders. Surgical management in combined, multistage treatment of facial malformations. 
    4. Dental inflammatory conditions of the head and neck- etiopathogenesis, symptoms and treatment. Diseases of the maxillary sinuses. Main factors of dental caries formation. Fluoride prophylaxis. Relationship of focal inflammation and pathological conditions in the oral cavity. 
    5. Selected cranial nerve diseases - neuralgia and trigeminal nerve inflammation. Temporomandibular joint diseases. Salivary gland diseases.
