    • The particular histological structure of the chosen endocrine glands in some wild and laboratory mammals using histological, immunohistochemical, hybridocytochemical and ultrastructural methods in normal and experimental conditions (thyroid gland, thyroid C cells, ultimobranchial remnants, parathyroid glands as well as neuroendocrine cells in stomach, pancreas and airways).
    • The histological structure of the testes and epididymes of the European bison Bison bonasus.
    • Regenerative medicine: adult stem and progenitor cells.
    • Histopathology of rheumatic diseases.
    • Morphological and ultrastructural changes in pancreas.
    • Ultrastructural analysis of toxic effects of selected chemical compounds in experimental animals: morphological and functional changes in thyroid and parathyroid glands.
    • Human placenta-derived mesenchymal cells.
    • Molecular biology of lung cancer: isolation of DNA and RNA, amplification of DNA using the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), detection of mutations, sequencing, methylation of p16, „Yeast Functional Assay”, agarose gel electrophoresis, polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, detection of HPV in lung cancer and in papillomas of oral cavity.
