PhD student as a participant of a symposium
Mr. Patryk Remiszewski, a PhD student of International doctoral studies in field of medical sciences and pharmaceutical sciences from 28.11.2019 to 30.11.2019 took an active part in the XXIV Symposium of Experimental Cardiology Section by the Polish Society of Cardiologists in Tomaszowice near Cracov. The symposium was held under a patronage of Physiological and Pharmacological Sciences' Committee of Polish Academy of Sciences. Mostly young but also experienced researchers of cardiology, phisiology, molecular biology, biophysics and cell's biology took part in the symposium. Mr. P. Remiszewski presented a presentation "Cannabidiol modifies parameters of oxidative stress in heart and plasma of rats with primary and secondary hypertension".

Visiting professors during the classes with PhD students
The last week of the summer semester was very busy at the International doctoral studies. PhD students were participating in classes run by visiting professors from Croatia and Lithuania.
From 10.06.2019 to 13.06.2019 Prof. N. Zarkovic conducted classes from the subject "Civilization diseases as an interdisciplinary issue".
From 12.06.2019 to 14.06.2019 Prof. A. Maruska conducted classes from the subject "Elements of modern pharmaceutical analytics".

Summer school behind us
International summer school "Soft skills and scientific succes" has already finished. It was a time of hard work, both for the lecturers and for the PhD students. The lecturers presented the topic of soft skills, being used in scientific and research fields, in an interesting way. The PhD students participated in all of the classes very actively. The classes finished with group and individual presentations of the PhD students. During the presentation the PhD students had the possibility to use all of the soft skills practically. The summer school finished with a summary and every participant got a certificate of completing the summer school in Supraśl.

Summer school in Supraśl
On Monday 03.06.2019 the International summer school "Soft skills and scientific success" has started.
The topics of the summer school include issues such as soft competences like communication, creativity, as well as
projects' management including R&D projects, business plan in science, presenting and reporting the research results. The classes are held in the form of discussion with moderators, lectures, seminars and practical classes, during which the participants work individually and in groups. Knowledge of the summer school will help the participants in their scientific and research work, will develop their soft skills necessary to achieve scientific success both in the national and international fields.
The classes are held in a charming place in Supraśl, rich in nature and culture that helps the participants to gain knowledge, exchange experience and integrate.
The classes will be held till 07.06.2019.

in Borowinowy Zdrój Hotel in Supraśl, ul. Zielona 3.
There will be a bus provided on the way Białystok-Supraśl-Białystok.

On Monday 19.11.2018 at 13:00 in the room 34 in the Euroregional Centre of Pharmacy there will be an organizational meeting for PhD students. The project's content coordinator and the Head of International doctoral studies in the field of medical sciences and pharmaceutical sciences will be present at the meeting.

English course started
The English course is continued for the PhD students of International doctoral studies in the field of medical sciences and pharmaceutical sciences. The course covers 30 hours and it allows to prepare the PhD students for participation in the studies and in complementary activities.

The doctoral studies are directed to candidates who are interested in raising their substantive knowledge and scientific - research competences in the fild of medical sciences and pharmaceutical sciences at the same time.
The candidates who apply for admission should register electronically in the online candidates’ registration and should submit all the required documents from 3rd to 20th September 2018.
