We would like to inform you that cases of COVID-19 have been found among representatives of the academic community of the Medical University of Bialystok.
The University leadership immediately took all possible precautions to prevent the further spread of infections. The university has notified the relevant epidemiological services and is in constant contact with these services, mainly with the District Sanitary and Epidemiological Station. People who tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 have been isolated from the academic community and are now in quarantine, which is carried out in accordance with current requirements.
The situation is monitored on an ongoing basis. On the University website, a tab has been created (in Polish and English), which provides accessible advice on how to behave in the event of a suspected infection, where to go for examination, and how to perform a test. Also, FAQ has been published. Answers to questions related to the epidemiological situation can be found there. FAQ will be gradually expanded.
