When does the admission start and end?Admission starts on December 1 and ends on August 31.
How many intakes a year do you have?We have only one intake for studies starting in October.
I don’t have my final grades yet. Can I apply with my predicted grades?Yes, you can apply with predicted grades or grades from the first semester of the final year
I am native English speaker from USA/Canada/Australia. Do I need to submit English certificate? Can I submit Medium of Instruction confirmation from my high school?You have to submit a certificate form the LIST OF CERTIFICATES. We cannot accept Medium of Instruction statement instead.
Can I apply with two A levels and one AS level?No, we require 3 A levels.
I am under 18 years old. Can I apply to your university?Yes, but you need to deliver signed Statement of the legal representative.doc and your birth certificate.
Do you offer any scholarships?After first year of studies you can apply for a Rector’s scholarship for best students.
Does someone from the University staff pick up the students from the airport?No, but we offer free of charge bus transport for students and their relatives from the centre of Warsaw to Bialystok on the last Saturday of September.
Can I pay tuition fee in instalments?Yes, you can pay in two instalments. In exceptional situations students can pay in 3 instalments, but it is required to receive Vice-Dean’s written consent.
Do you offer psychological help in English for students?Yes, counselling is provided by the university at no charge to the student. Our counsellor is a fully trained clinical psychologist and a native speaker of English.
Do I need a PESEL number?you don’t necessary need a PESEL number, it is not obligatory but it may make things a bit easier if you want to apply for the National Health Fund (NFZ) Medical insurance

What progams in English does the Medical University of Bialystok offer?Currently the only program that MUB offers in English Is 6-year Medicine program, however, we are planning to open Nursing and Dentistry for October 2027 intake.

Which subjects are required in an application?Candidates choose 2 out of 4 subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics).
Does the University offer support for students in such non-school matters as apartment rentals?Medical University of Bialystok has a functioning Welcome Centre , which offers assistance in dealing with various matters at the University, in the city office, renting an apartment, making a doctor’s appointment, etc.
Does the University help students with their visa applications?Visa matters are up to the candidates to handle, however, document confirming enrollment can be issued upon request.
Is a dormitory available?A lot of English Division students stay in one of the MUB dormitories which is located in the campus, within 5-min walking distance from the hospitals. The number of available rooms is limited so we advise to apply when it’s confirmed that you got accepted.
I don’t speak Polish. Is it possible for me to move around and get things done easily in your city?A lot of Bialystok inhabitants speak English. The University has launched a mobile app where you can find information about English speaking taxi corporations, restaurants or hotels. The app is available here: https://www.umb.edu.pl/en/mymub If needed, Welcome Centre employees are also ready to assist you.
What ‘extracurricular’ activities are there for students after classwork?Numerous events integrating the academic community are organized at the University. Many of them are held in English. If you want to learn more, check our Student's life section.
