    Accessibility declaration

    The Medical University of Bialystok undertakes to ensure the accessibility of its mobile application in accordance with the provisions of the Act of 4 April 2019 on digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities.

    The accessibility statement applies to the myMUB mobile app umb.edu.pl/en/mymub.

    Digital Accessibility Status

    The myMUB mobile app is partially compliant with the Appendix to the Act of 4 April 2019 on digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities due to the following inconsistencies or exclusions.

    • Certain elements of the application may have too little contrast.
    • A situation may occur where alternative texts have not been added to photos and graphic elements.
    • The downloadable files made available in the app are not digitally available in some cases. Every effort is made to ensure that the files uploaded to the app are available digitally.
    • The application may have a disrupted headings’ hierarchy.

    The declaration was prepared based on a self-assessment conducted by the Medical University of Białystok using the WAVE web accessibility evaluation tool.

    Everyone has the right to request the digital accessibility of this mobile application or its elements.

    When submitting such a request, provide:

    • your name and surname,
    • your contact details (e.g. phone number, e-mail),
    • detailed information about the problem with digital accessibility including module name, where the problem exists,
    • a description of the problem and what solution would be most convenient for you.

    We will respond to your request as soon as possible, no later than within 7 days of receiving it.

    If this deadline is too short for us, we will inform you about it. In this information, we will provide a new deadline by which we will correct the errors you reported or prepare the information in an alternative way. This new deadline will not be longer than 2 months.

    If we are unable to ensure the digital availability of the mobile application or content from your application, we will offer you access to it in an alternative way.

    Handling requests and complaints related to accessibility

    If, in response to your request to ensure digital accessibility, we refuse to provide the digital accessibility you requested, and you do not agree with this refusal, you have the right to file a complaint.

    You also have the right to file a complaint if you do not agree to use the alternative method of access that we offered you in response to your request to ensure digital accessibility.
