The International Cooperation Department would like to inform that the hosting, i.e. maintenance and availability on web servers, of the bilingual virtual walk around the UMB campus has been extended for another 8 months. The virtual walk will continue to be available from 1 July 2025 to 28 February 2026.

Work on the virtual walk around the facilities of the Medical University of Bialystok was completed in the second quarter of 2022. The walk was made possible by the implementation of the project entitled "The gates of MUB are always open. Support for the development of the Welcome Centre and the university's potential to serve foreign students and researchers" financed by the polish National Agency for Academic Exchange under the Welcome to Poland programme (2020).

Since then, international students, potential candidates for English-language studies and their parents, international professors, as well as the Polish-speaking academic community of the Medical University of Bialystok have been able to use this innovative tool. Thanks to the virtual walk, they can view the most important university buildings and the campus from anywhere in the world.

The tour is available in two languages: English and Polish. It is also an opportunity for current international and Polish students to explore places they have not yet visited and discover the secrets of the university. The virtual walk is another example of combining tradition with modernity and working towards internationalisation.

The Hosting of Virtual Walk from 1 July 2025 to 28 February 2026 is possible, thanks to the realization of the project entitled: “Knowledge without borders. Access to prestigious, electronic, global knowledge resources as a pillar of modern education". The project is financed by the Polish National Agency of Academic Exchange within the Welcome to Poland programme (2023).
