    The training: “Equality and Tolerance in the Academic Environment”

    The International Cooperation Department cordially invites international students within the English Division of the Medical University of Bialystok to participate in a free training dedicated to building an open and equal academic environment.

    Take part to learn how to effectively promote a culture of mutual respect and understanding at our University.

     

    The training will focus on key issues related to tolerance, counteracting discrimination, and managing diversity. Thanks to it:

    • You will learn to recognize and react to manifestations of unequal treatment.
    • You will learn how to build an atmosphere of openness and support equal treatment for all members of our community.
    • You will gain practical tools and experience to promote inclusivity in your daily work and studies.

     

    The programme of the training has been developed in collaboration with the Equality and Gender Team to best meet the needs of our community. Better assimilation of knowledge will be supported by training materials, which will be received by all participants.

     

    It will be conducted in a concise and convenient online format, enabling participation without interfering with your daily responsibilities.

     

    Organizational details:

    1) Format: online (via MS Teams)

    2) Duration: 3 teaching hours

    3) Language: English

    4) Confirmation of participation: each participant will receive a personalized certificate

    5) Available dates:

    October 28, 2025 (Tuesday) from 11:15 a.m. to 01:40 p.m.

    Or October 29, 2025 (Wednesday) from 02:10 p.m. to 04:35 p.m.

     

    To participate in the training on your preferred date, please register as soon as possible, as the number of spots for each training limited.

     

    Recruitment for the training:

    To participate in the training, you must fill in the application form.

    Attach the following documents to the application form::

    1. Project participant statement (Attachment no. 1),

    2. Additional Consent of the Participant For Data Processing – if applicable (Attachment no. 2).

     

    The set of original documents (the application form, statement and additional consent - if applicable) in paper form should be submitted to the employee of the International Cooperation Department Patrycja Jasińska (patrycja.jasinska@umb.edu.pl), room no. 213 (Right Wing of the Branicki Palace, first floor) or via the MUB’s General Chancellery.

     

    Register today – the number of spots is limited, and participation is determined on a first-come basis.

     

    The training is organised in connection with implementation of the project entitled "Bridges instead of walls. Increasing adaptability and capacity to serve foreign stakeholders”  financed by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange under the Welcome to Poland (2023) Programme.
