Representatives of the International Cooperation Department of the Medical University of Bialystok - Marta Jemieljańczuk and Patrycja Jasińska - are participating in the prestigious APAIE 2026 conference, which is taking place in Hong Kong. The conference will last from February 23 to 27, 2026. This event is one of the most important global meetings devoted to the internationalisation of higher education and every year brings together thousands of representatives of universities, educational organizations, and institutions supporting academic cooperation from around the world.
Participation in the conference is an important element of the internationalisation strategy of the Medical University of Bialystok. The University's presence will enable both the strengthening of existing partnerships and the establishment of new contacts with universities from all continents. Particular emphasis was placed on the development of academic cooperation, student and staff mobility, and the promotion of the Medical University of Bialystok's educational offer among international recruiters and candidates.
As the largest educational event in the Asia-Pacific region, the APAIE conference provides a unique platform for exchanging experiences, presenting educational offerings, and initiating new international projects. This year's edition will be attended by over 200 exhibitors and representatives of hundreds of universities from around the world.
The Medical University of Bialystok is part of a Polish delegation comprising 14 universities. The Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) was responsible for organizing and coordinating the joint Polish stand, which enabled the effective promotion of Polish higher education and the presentation of the MUB's educational offer in an international academic environment.
Participation in the APAIE conference and fair is an excellent opportunity for numerous bilateral meetings with representatives of universities from Europe, Asia, Australia, and the Americas. Discussions focus on topics such as the development of mobility programs, joint projects, and opportunities for expanding partnerships. The presence of the MUB at APAIE 2026 will increase the university's visibility on the international arena and strengthen its position as a modern academic centre open to global cooperation.
Participation in the event is another important step in the consistent development of the international potential of the Medical University of Bialystok and confirms its active involvement in building a global network of academic cooperation.
