On 21-23 April, the classes titled “Fundamentals of drug discovery and development" took place, conducted by Dr Nataliya Finiuk, who visited at the invitation of Prof. Anna Bielawska, Head of the Department of Biotechnology.
The classes were opened by Dr Tomasz Maliszewski, Head of the International Cooperation Department, who welcomed the lecturer and the PhD students participating in the classes.
The program covered the main stages of drug development - from early laboratory research and clinical studies, through regulatory procedures, to the use of artificial intelligence in discovering new medicines and the latest trends in the field.
Appreciation for the visit and for sharing knowledge were expressed by Prof. Barbara Mroczko, Director of the Doctoral School at the Medical University of Białystok, and Prof. Anna Moniuszko-Malinowska, Vice-Dean for Science and Evaluation.
The classes had a modern, practical character and allowed participants to view drug development as a coherent process combining science, technology, and medical innovation.
Once again, we would like to thank Dr Nataliya Finiuk for her visit and sharing her experiences, as well as the PhD students for their active participation.
We also invite you to the next series of classes – details are available via the link.
