    #interlab+ 2026 Intercultural Workshops

    Sign up for the #Interlab+ Intercultural Workshops and develop the skills essential in today’s global academic and professional environment.


    This May, we invite you to workshops focusing on intercultural communication and effective collaboration within diverse teams.


    Schedule:

        12 May (8.30 am–2.30 pm) – workshops in English for students
        13 May (8.30 am–2.30 pm) – workshops in Polish for teaching staff 


    The workshops will take place in person in room 218, Collegium Primum.
    Coffee breaks will be provided during the training.


    Upon completion of the workshops, each participant will receive a certificate of attendance.


    The programme includes:

       - an integrated understanding of intercultural competence,
       - the iceberg model of culture,
       - acculturation strategies. 


    The workshops will be led by experienced trainers in intercultural communication: Anna Skocz and Jolanta Sobesiuk.

    Anna Skocz

    A certified trainer with the sTOP Association of NGO Trainers and an intercultural educator (holding an MA in Intercultural Communication and Education from the UK), an international relations specialist, and a coach specialising in the Points of You method (Level 3 Expert) and the Solution-Focused Approach. She delivers international and intercultural training for Polish and foreign organisations, and supports non-governmental organisations and educational institutions in securing funding for the development of international and intercultural cooperation. Member of the Board of the European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA), an international organisation promoting non-formal adult education.

    Jolanta Sobesiuk

    A linguist by training (French, Italian, English and Russian), and a professional translator. 
    An intercultural trainer who actively collaborates with teaching staff across Poland, and an anti-discrimination trainer for the Anti-Discrimination Education Society. A facilitator of dialogues based on the principles of public dialogue developed by the Nansen Institute in Norway.
    A native of Podlasie, raised in the multicultural society of the Bug River region of Podlasie, seeking her own identity and that of other residents of Podlasie, and currently an ambassador for Podlasie’s multiculturalism.
