The International Cooperation Department would like to announce the conclusion of a new inter-institutional agreement with the University of Cantabria in Spain (Universidad de Cantabria). The agreement provides for student exchanges between the two institutions for study purposes, as well as exchanges of academic staff for teaching in the field of Medicine.
Universidad de Cantabria, located in Santander, is the oldest public university in the autonomous region of Cantabria. It is one of three universities to feature in the top of the main Spanish rankings in terms of both the quality of teaching and research. The University is ranked between 701 and 800 in the Shanghai Ranking. It is also one of the partner universities in the EUNICE network. The partnership has been in force since 2023 and is developing through the ongoing ‘valuEU – strengthening the potential of the Medical University of Bialystok in the EUNICE European University’ project.
The agreement was concluded for the academic years from 2025/2026 to 2028/2029.
