Project #1
Title: Serum zinc-alpha2-glycoprotein (ZAG) as a biomarker of coronary artery atherosclerosis.
Objectives: To estimate the serum levels of zinc-alpha2-glycoprotein (ZAG) and adiponectin in general population and patients with established ischemic heart disease and to investigate the correlation of ZAG and adiponectin with traditional cardiovascular risk factors.

Project #2
Title: Untargeted metabolomic profiling of exhaled breath condensate (breathomics / volatolomics) of electronic cigarette smokers (vapers), smokers and non-smokers from general population.
Objectives: To perform untargeted metabolomic profiling of exhaled breath condensate (breathomics / volatolomics) of electronic cigarette smokers (vapers), smokers and non-smokers from general population and comprehensively study metabolites in relation to smoking status as well as other pathophysiological measurements.
