On Thursday, February 2nd 2023, we had fun together during the 3rd MUB's International Karaoke Night. We are happy to see your growing trust and interest in our international events and we are already looking forward to the next edition!
The evening began with the "Name that tune" competition, in which anyone who guessed the song could win double invitations to the Helios cinema.
The official part was opened to the sounds of "We will rock you" by Queen by Professor Tomasz Hryszko, Vice-Dean for Development and Medical Education in English.
20 solo performers and 8 groups took part in the competition.
According to our jury, the winners of our karaoke competition were:
Solo Category:
- 1st place: Wiksa Ciok with the song "Babę zesłał Bóg" by Renata Przemyk
- 2nd place ex aequo: Muhammad Aqib Ejaz with the song "Channa Mereya" by Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Patrycja Chaberek with the song "I will survive" by Gloria Gaynor
- 3rd place: Kacper Rutkowski with the song "Cecily Smith" by Peter Friedman
Group category:
- 1st place: Julia Borowska and Szymon Potapczyk - "Sway", Michael Buble
- 2nd place: Aleksandra Śladewska, Julia Pawlak, Stanisław Busiński, Wiksa Ciok - "Cykady na Cykladach", Maanam
- 3rd place: Małgorzata Duzinkiewicz, Konrad Bagiński - "Umbrella", The Baseballs
The Audience award - for the second time in a row was given to Koton Sadat for the song "Kya mujhe pyaar hai"

After the end of the competition and the awarding of prizes, we smoothly moved on to joyful dancing.
