    Medical science doctoral degree program offered at Hamamatsu University School of Medicine

    Hamamatsu University School of Medicine is recruiting for doctoral programs in medical sciences. The Medical University of Bialystok has had a bilateral agreement with this Japanese university since 2004.

    There are currently two enrollments for doctoral studies: starting in October 2024 or in April 2025. These studies are intended, among others, for those who have completed studies in medicine, dentistry, pharmacology, veterinary medicine, or those who are scheduled to complete such studies before September 2024. In order to apply for admission to a doctoral program, four documents must be submitted:

    • Application for the examination indicating the eligibility
    • Results Transcript
    • Graduation certificate (including prospective graduation/completion)
    • Study Career Certificate

    These documents must be sent by conventional post to the university's headquarters by a maximum of April 19, 2024. Before sending, contact the university via email. Before sending the documents, please refer to the list of research laboratories, research projects and research areas and select your preferred laboratory (research group).

    Application documents should arrive between May 20 and May 29, 2024. The application documents include;

    • Admission Application Form
    • Photo
    • Research Plan
    • List of Publications or Document Showing Other Strength
    • Letter of Recommendation.
    • Examination Fee.
    • Copy of Residence Card (or similar)
    • Documents that can prove English proficiency objectively
    • Scholarship Application Form

    The selection process for chosen candidates consists of document verification and an interview. The interview will be conducted over the Internet, for example using Zoom. The interview will be scheduled between June 24 (Monday) and June 28 (Friday) 2024, and each candidate will be notified by email.

    Amount of fees:

    Registration fee JPY 282,000

    Tuition fees - first semester JPY 267,900

    (Full year) 535,800 JPY

     

    Scholarships of 100,000 yen/month are provided for the best students, for a maximum of 4 years. In exceptional cases, indicated in the conditions of enrollment, it is possible to apply for a waiver of tuition and enrollment fees. Foreign students can also apply for a place in a student house.
