Brown bag meeting of PhD students working on the ImPRESS project "International, interdisciplinary doctoral studies in the field of medical biology and biostatistics, training in research based on large-scale technologies and biostatistics, and support for young researchers through international and intersectoral mobility" took place at the Senate Hall on January 17, 2019. Project coordinator, Rector Marcin Moniuszko officially introduced two new early stage researchers, who joined the group as the last ones, in November and December. PhD students were informed about organizational matters by the Head of studies, Dean Anna Moniuszko-Malinowska. The PhD students discussed individual research projects, which will soon start as part of the ImPRESS project, and ongoing work in their departments. They exchanged previous experience on various research techniques, and discussed the possibilities of going to interesting trainings or conferences. Brown bag meeting will be organized periodically, every month. Meetings will be a great opportunity to exchange experiences and establish interdisciplinary cooperation between doctoral students from ImPRESS project.

On January 18, 2019, early stage researchers became acquainted with the guidelines for conducting research during an ethical course organized by Professor Otylia Kowal-Bielecka, the Chairwoman of the MUB Bioethics Committee.
