On July the 12th, in Aula Magna, took place a Graduation Ceremony of the Faculty of Medicine’s students.

52 students from Norway, Sweden, Finland, Ireland, Iceland, Germany and Poland graduated from the Medical University of Bialystok.

This is a special year for studies at the English Division, as MUB is celebrating its 15th anniversary. While initially students of English Division were mainly from Scandinavia, now the recruitment for the first year exceeds 120 people, and those who are willing are literally from around the world. European countries dominate, but the group of Americans of Polish descent is also large.

Both prof.  dr hab. Irina Kowalska, as well as dr hab. Tomasz Hryszko, in their speeches, emphasized that, although the graduates had very hard six-year studies, they are basically just at the beginning of their medical journey. They reminded that the profession of a doctor is special, because of its responsibility.

    - Please work hard, do not be afraid to dream and do not give up- said prof. Irina Kowalska.

Although the number of graduates were a little over 50, the Aula Magna was filled with guests. Friends and family of the graduates came to the Branicki Palace for this ceremony from all over the world.

About 400 foreigners from nearly 30 countries are currently studying at MUB. Most of course on the English Division.
