The new agreement concluded between the Medical University of Bialystok and the Lugansk State Medical University in Ukraine will be valid for a period of 5 years with the possibility of extension.
The aim of the agreement is to establish cooperation in the field of exchange of scientific staff and students, exchange of experience on teaching methods, implementation of joint research projects, seminars, conferences, organization of joint summer schools, preparation of joint scientific publications.
The university educates students in six faculties: medicine, pediatrics, foreign students, pharmaceutical, dental and postgraduate studies.
Lugansk State Medical University is accredited and recognized by WHO, MCI, FAIMER, NMC, graduates are eligible for ECFMG certification in the USA and Canada, as well as in other countries. The university has level IV of accreditation of the Ukrainian Ministry of Health. It publishes 7 scientific journals. It is an active partner in numerous international exchange programs, accepts a large number of foreign doctoral students, researchers, visiting professors.
