The graduation ceremony took place at the Aula Magna of the Medical University of Bialystok on May 12, 2023.
In addition to the graduates, their families, the rector's authorities and deans of the University, the event was attended by invited guests: Provincial Pharmaceutical Inspector in Białystok - Justyna Gosk-Frankowicz MA, President of the District Pharmacy Council in Białystok - Tomasz Sawicki MA, President of the MUB University Council - Jolanta Koszelew PhD, heads of organizational units of the Faculty of Pharmacy with the Department of Laboratory Medicine and a representative of the Student Self-Government - Sylwia Ogniewska.
A nice accent of the ceremony was the presentation of the Rector's honorary diploma to Piotr Ryszkiewicz, Master of Pharmacy. He graduated with a very good result and an average grade of 4.95. In accordance with the University's custom, the best graduate was entered into the Golden Book of the MUB. In addition, graduates engaged in active work for the University and the student community: Justyna Jasiorowska and Katarzyna Polkowska, were awarded diplomas and gifts by the Dean.
Addressing the graduates, MUB Vice-Rector for Science and Development - prof. dr hab. Marcin Moniuszko wished them success, courage in introducing changes to the Polish health care system and working in the state administration at high levels to be able to reform the system for the benefit of patients. In turn, the MUB Vice-Rector for Education, prof. Adrian Chabowski thanked the graduates for choosing the Medical University of Bialystok.
Pharmacy graduates honored with flowers and a gift their student leader, Justyna Jasiorowska, who worked with commitment for many years for good organization of studies and integration of students. Then the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy with the Department of Laboratory Medicine of the MUB, prof. Wojciech Miltyk read the text of the oath, which was repeated by the graduates and they became full-fledged pharmacists.
The ceremony was enriched by the performance of the MUB Choir under the direction of prof. Anna Moniuszko. At the end, the graduates put on their caps and posed for a group photo in the palace gardens.
This academic year, 76 graduates graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy. Since the beginning of Pharmacy, MUB has educated 2,065 pharmacists.
