On 20 March 2024, a ceremony of awarding the employees of the Medical University of Bialystok took place in the Nobilium Auditorium.
On the basis of Article 138 of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland of 2 April 1997 and the Act of 16 October 1992 on Orders and Distinctions, by Order of the President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda, at the request of the Minister of Health, for exemplary, exceptionally conscientious performance of duties resulting from professional work, the following were honoured:
- The Gold Medal for Long Service - dr hab. Paweł Tomasz Sacha,
- The Silver Medal for Long Service - dr hab. Piotr Wieczorek
At the request of the Rector, Prof. dr hab. Adam Krętowski, the Medal of the Commission of National Education was awarded to:
- Prof. dr hab. Barbara Mroczko
- Prof. dr hab. Elżbieta Tryniszewska
The awarding was performed by the Podlasie Province Governor Dr Jacek Brzozowski.
The celebration was also attended by the Vice-Rectors of the MUB: prof. dr hab. Marcin Moniuszko, prof. dr hab. Adrian Chabowski, prof. dr hab. Janusz Dzięcioł, and Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy with the Division of Laboratory Medicine - prof. dr hab. Wojciech Miltyk, and the Head of the Office of the Governor, Mateusz Ziemblicki.
