    „A YEAR IN PODLASIE” – call for submissions for a photography competition

    Dear all,

    The International Cooperation Department cordially invites all students of the Medical University of Białystok to take part in a photographic competition entitled:

    A YEAR IN PODLASIE

    Description of the competition:

    The subject of the competition is to take and send photographs showing the beauty of Podlasie, in particular:

     

    • Białowieża National Park
    • Biebrza National Park
    • Narew National Park
    • Wigry National Park
    • Holy Mountain of Grabarka
    • Holy Water Sanctuary
    • Mosques in Bohoniki and Kruszyniany
    • Land of Open Shutters
    • Herbal Corner in Koryciny
    • Jurassic Dinosaur Park
    • Arboretum in Kopna Góra
    • Tykocin
    • Suprasl
    • Augustow
    • Bialystok

    as well as other beautiful or unique places located in Podlasie.

     

    The photos will be assessed by a commission consisting of Prof. Tomasz Hryszko, the Rector's Plenipotentiary for International Cooperation, and three employees of the International Cooperation Department. The most interesting and creative photographs will be used to make wall calendars presenting the beauty of our region.

     

    To take part in the competition you need to send 1-3 photographs presenting the beauty of Podlaskie Voivodeship in good resolution, i.e. min. 1920x1080 pixels.

    The name of the file containing the photograph(s) should be named as follows: NAME_SURNAME_WORK_TITLE.JPG.

    Photographs should be sent by 16.04.2025 at 15:30 directly to the email address weronika.wroblewska@umb.edu.pl.

    The place where the photograph was taken must also be indicated.

    Winners of the competition can expect to receive gifts.
