A record-breaking year in 2025 at the MUB Museum and Branicki Palace. 56,000 people visited the facility! This makes the university museum one of the most frequently visited places in Podlasie.
The Branicki Palace in Białystok is a special place on the map of the city and region. It is here that the threads of different histories and human fates intertwine. This is where Białystok began, this place became the seedbed of medicine in the region, and finally, the Palace is the headquarters of the Medical University of Białystok.
"This is where the heart of the city and the region beats," says MUB Rector Professor Marcin Moniuszko about the Branicki Palace.
These are among the reasons behind the name change of the university museum (formerly the MUB Museum of the History of Medicine and Pharmacy) to the MUB Museum and Branicki Palace. The change took place in the middle of last year.
On Friday (January 23, 2026), the museum summarized the past year during a press briefing. This year was a record-breaking one by any measure: 56,000 visitors. This is almost 25 percent more than in the equally successful year of 2024.
