The Medical University of Bialystok has been included in the prestigious ShanghaiRanking’s Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS) – one of the international rankings assessing universities’ achievements in specific fields of science.
In this year’s edition, the Medical University of Bialystok was ranked in two scientific fields. In the Human Biological Sciences category, the Medical University of Bialystok was ranked in the 201–300 range worldwide, tied with the Medical University of Wroclaw, whilst in the Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences category it was ranked in the 401–500 range, jointly with the Medical University of Łódź, the Medical University of Warsaw and the Karol Marcinkowski Medical University in Poznań.
ShanghaiRanking’s Global Ranking of Academic Subjects covers universities from around the world and analyses their research achievements in specific subject areas. The ranking takes into account, amongst other things, research output, international collaboration, and the impact and quality of scientific publications.
The MUB’s inclusion in the ShanghaiRanking’s international list confirms the University’s high academic standards and growing international recognition. This is primarily the result of the work and commitment of MUB researchers, whose research, publications and international collaboration contribute to building the University’s strong position in the field of biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences.
