We would like to inform you about another success of the Medical University of Bialystok in the international rankings. For the first time in history, MUB was classified in the prestigious "Times Higher Education World University Ranking by subject". The university was positioned in the range 601+ in the Clinical and Health category.

Only 5 Polish medical universities were positioned in the ranking. The University received a particularly good result in the Teaching and Industry Income categories. In the ranking, MUB has been placed below the Jagiellonian University, but in the same range as the Medical University of Warsaw, the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń and the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn.

This is MUB's second ranking success this year. The university was placed in the range of 1001-1200 position, which is the 3rd result in the country in the prestigious, global "Times Higher Education World University Ranking". This year's ranking includes only two Polish medical universities - the Medical University of Bialystok and the Medical University of Warsaw. In the ranking, MUB was ahead of such universities as the University of Gdańsk, the University of Wrocław and the Warsaw University of Technology.

The "Times Higher Education World University Ranking" is a ranking of the best universities in the world prepared by the British journal "Times Higher Education". It has been published annually since 2010. The university ranking "THE" is perceived, next to the Academic Ranking of World Universities and the World University Ranking QS, as one of the three most-followed rankings of this type.

The submission of a complete reports was preceded by appointing an employee for reporting data to ranking institutions within the International Cooperation Department (Łukasz Lepionka, PhD). This action was a consequence of recommendations received from independent experts conducting audits as part of the "International Visibility Project" project, in which MUB was an active participant. As soon as in the first year of reporting, it was such a spectacular success. Data submission was supervised by the Rector's Plenipotentiary for International Cooperation - prof. dr hab. Tomasz Hryszko.

We would like to thank all those involved in the reporting process. We are also glad that the daily work of all MUB employees is noticed and appreciated on the international scale! Results available on the website:
