The TOP 2% list evaluates the scientific achievements of individual researchers according to the bibliometric index, which takes into account criteria such as: the Hirsch index, the number of independent citations, and the position and role of a given researcher on the list of authors of the publication and others.
The ranking was prepared by authors from Stanford University in collaboration with Elsevier publishing house and SciTech Strategies.
