On Saturday, June 7, 2025, the event “Welcome to Białowieża – Erasmus+ Sightseeing Day” took place.
The participants were: this year’s Erasmus+ incoming students, MUB’s outgoing students that took part in mobilities for study and traineeship, Erasmus+ Buddies, English Division students and representatives of the International Cooperation Department and the Erasmus+ Office.
The goal of the event was not only to introduce participants to the unique natural site of the Białowieża Forest, but also to foster integration and build relationships among students of various nationalities. The programme included a visit to the Bison Show Reserve, a guided tour of the Strict Protection Area of the Białowieża National Park, a visit to the modern Nature and Forest Museum, and a shared lunch at a local restaurant. The day concluded with fun outdoor games and group activities.
The trip was a great opportunity to explore the natural and cultural heritage of the region while spending time together in a truly international atmosphere. The programme was carried out according to plan, and the mood throughout the day was filled with enthusiasm and positive energy. This special encounter with nature and local culture will surely remain a memorable experience for all participants.
Thank you all for your presence and positive spirit – we look forward to seeing you at future Erasmus+ events!
