Rama Krishna Guggilla, Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellow from the ImPRESS project, MUB PhD student and employee, has been invited by the Safety Platform for Emergency vACcines (SPEAC) Project, which is a collaboration of the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) and the Brighton Collaboration, the largest global organization of scientific experts on vaccine safety, based in Atlanta at The Task Force for Global Health to be a member of the Working Group that will develop a Case Definition for Acute Cardiovascular Injury that can be used to facilitate safety assessment of SARS-CoV-2 vaccines in the settings of clinical trials, post-marketing studies and pharmacovigilance.
