Mateusz Cieśluk, PhD student at the Department of Medical Microbiology and Nanobiomedical Engineering of the Medical University of Bialystok, received a scholarship from the Polpharma Scientific Foundation. The doctoral student's supervisor is prof. Robert Bucki. Mateusz Cieśluk will receive 10 000 PLN.
Mateusz Cieśluk is a graduate of Biomedical Engineering at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Białystok University of Technology. His interests mainly include nanotechnology, atomic force microscopy, rheology and bioinformatics. The most important achievement of the research work of Mateusz Cieśluk is the research results obtained as part of his doctoral dissertation and other research projects focused on the application of atomic force microscopy (AFM) in biological sciences, in particular in the diagnosis of neoplastic diseases and inflammatory changes. Scientific achievements of M. Cieśluk includes 12 articles with a total Impact Factor (IF) of 39.603 (MNiSW: 1105). Moreover, the PhD student is a scholarship holder and a co-contractor of grants financed by the National Science Center, OPUS9, OPUS16 and HARMONIA10 (headed by prof. Robert Bucki). Mateusz Cieśluk won first places at scientific conferences and participated in numerous international conferences. Congratulations!
The competition for a doctoral scholarship of the Polpharma Scientific Foundation is held every two years and is addressed to doctoral students of medical universities and the Medical Center for Postgraduate Education (CMKP). The award is a scholarship worth 10 00 PLN. The Foundation may award a maximum of 10 scholarships.
