Another MUB success in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2024! The Medical University of Bialystok is located in the range of 1001 - 1200! This is the fifth result in the country, ex aequo with m.in. AGH University of Krakow, University of Wroclaw or Warsaw Medical University. A particularly good result was achieved by the University in the Teaching category (second place in Poland). The quality of the research is also highly appreciated.
The "Times Higher Education World University Ranking" is a ranking of the best universities in the world prepared by the British magazine "Times Higher Education". It has been published annually since 2010. The University ranking "THE" is seen, next to The Academic Ranking of World Universities i QS World University Ranking, as one of the three most followed data sets of this type.
For the first time, the number of MUB students leaving abroad was reported. The student mobility taken into account concerned mobilities for educational purposes, scientific activities at foreign universities, acquisition of inter-cultural and language learning experience, receiving research advice at foreign educational institutions. Eligible were students whose mobilities lasted at least one month, concerned students of 1st and 2nd degree and uniform master's degree studies, provided that ECTS points were obtained as part of this mobility.
Participation in the edition of the World University Rankings 2024 would not have been possible without cooperation with the individual departments of MUB, which made it possible for the International Cooperation Department to report in close cooperation with the Rector's Plenipotentiary for International Cooperation - Professor Tomasz Hryszko MD, PhD.
Soon, the Medical University of Bialystok will apply for a position in the category Life Sciences & Medicine QS World University Rankings 2023: Top global universities, the prestigious global ranking of higher education institutions, wanting to increase global recognition by achieving better positions in rankings and applying to new international rankings. The International Cooperation Department has already taken steps towards reporting.
Another success of the university is the result of the daily work of all MUB employees, noticed and appreciated on a global scale.
