    Personal data protection

    In accordance with article 13 of the Regulation (EU) on personal data protection, of 27th April 2016, (Official Journal of the European Union, L 119, of 04.05.2016) the Medical University of Bialystok advises you as follows:

     

    1. The Medical University of Bialystok, registered address: ul. Kilińskiego 1, 15-089, represented by the Rector of the University, is an administrator of your personal data;
    2. Ms Emilia Minasz, e-mail address: emilia.minasz@umb.edu.pl, is the Data Protection Officer for the Medical University of Bialystok;
    3. Your personal data will be processed in order to carry out the recruitment process for PhD studies under:
    • article 6(1) (c) of the Regulation (EU) on personal data protection, of 27th April 2016, article 169 of the Law on higher education, of 27th July 2005,
    • article 6(1) (a) of the Regulation (EU) on personal data protection, of 27th April 2016, relating to your consent to the processing of data not specified in the Regulation;
    1. If you are not enrolled for PhD courses at the Medical University of Bialystok, the data collected during the admissions procedure will be retained for a time period required to complete the recruitment process.
    2. Your personal data will only be disclosed to persons authorized by the data controller and to Simple S.A., a commercial partner working with the Medical University of Bialystok on the basis of a personal data processing agreement.
    3. Your personal data may be disclosed to another entity on the basis of a personal data processing agreement, to an authorized body in accordance with the law, to Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA), for the purpose of obtaining information regarding recognition of foreign higher education degrees in Poland.
    4. Your personal data will not be transmitted to any third country or international organization.
    5. You are entitled to access your data, you have the right to rectification, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time; you have got the right to have your data erased, the right to restrict the processing of your data, and the right to object, according to the circumstances justified and specified in Article 17, 18 and 21 of Regulation (EU) of 27 April 2016 on the protection of personal data.
    6. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Controller in the even your data are processed by the controller of personal data in violation of Regulation (EU) of 27 April 2016 on the protection of personal data.
    7. Disclosure of personal data is mandatory under the law; although it is optional as for the remaining scope, it is necessary for the purposes of the PhD student recruitment process.
